The Day Series
On the first Monday of August 2021, I started The Day Series. For one year, I created one work of art each day Monday-Friday. Each collage and color gradient used the previous weeks’ New York Times Sunday Newspaper as the source of the color story and collage material The series commenced on July 29, 2022. The first exhibition that includes all 26o pieces debuted at the Wiregrass Museum of Art in Dothan, Alabama. The Day Series travels next to Birmingham, AL in May 2024, opening at Gallery Vox.
