This immersive exhibition of moving images, performance, photography, and drawings explore how astral (and video) projections might allow for literal and metaphysical “star”gazing and shape-shifting. In August of 2003, Trondson staged an Untitled art performance at the now defunct Basement Gallery in Los Angeles. Twenty years later, she returns to this work; a revisit but not a copy, an out-of-body experience multiplied, embodying Neil Diamond and her “as was” self; both of them doubled, mirrored, and multiplied.
